This fast can be highly restrictive so depending on how long you do the fast, you need to be careful of malnourishment. The only thing you need to be careful about is fruit combinations because some fruits don’t digest well together like acids and sweet fruits. Melons don’t digest well with anything. So try to eat citrus fruits and melons by themselves.
In preparation for your fast, try to eat fewer and lighter meals for a couple days before. If your fast is going to have a long duration, make sure your preparation days match so you will be ready for your fast. Make sure you drink about 8 cups of water with fresh lemon added in. Also, try to plan your schedule and don’t do any vigorous activity. Don’t overwork yourself and get plenty of rest.
During the fast, if you are a beginner, it might be really hard. So, try to make the duration of your fast shorter. Start by making it one day and then continue longer when you’re able to. The first 2 or 3 days are typically the hardest but after that, it usually gets easier.
